ദശരജന്യ അഥവാ പത്ത് രാജാക്കൻമാരുടെ യുദ്ധം

മഹാഭാരത യുദ്ധത്തിനും മുൻപ് ഒരു യുദ്ധം ഭാരതത്തിൽ പ്രശസ്തിയാർജിച്ചിരുന്നു. ദശരജന്യ യുദ്ധം അഥവാ പത്തുരാജാക്കൻമാരുടെ യുദ്ധം എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ യുദ്ധത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരണം ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അതിപ്രാചീന വേദമായ ഋഗ്വേദത്തിന്റെ ഏഴാം മണ്ഡലത്തിലാണുള്ളത്. ഇന്നത്തെ രവി നദിയെന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്ന പരുഷ്ണി നദീതീരത്താണ് ഈ യുദ്ധം നടന്നത്. പ്രാചീന വേദകാലഘട്ടത്തിലേക്കാണ് ഈ യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ സമയക്രമം വിരൽചൂണ്ടുന്നത്. ഇവിടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് പ്രിനു പ്രഭാകരൻ, Script: എസ്. അശ്വിൻ

Before the Mahabharata war, a war was famous in India. Known as the Dasharajanya War or the War of the Ten Kings, the account of this war is found in the seventh mandala of India's ancient Veda, the Rigveda. This battle took place on the banks of the Parushni River, which is considered to be the present day Ravi River. The timeline of this war points to the ancient Vedic period.
