Sidz: There are so many social media platforms. Now, the question is which platform works, which media type works and how do you use content to attract customers? That's actually the topic of this podcast. I'm gonna be walking you through the three different stages for you to be able to attract the right customers.
00:00:15
Sidz: Today, we are living in a world where people are confused on what they need to do. Should they focus on reels or should they focus on youtube? Should they focus on podcasts like this? Should they focus on blogging or ranking on or should they focus on just doing webinar content and just performance, marketing and so on?
00:00:31
Sidz: So I just want to break the, you know, the confusion that many people have in this short podcast and explain to you that there are three stages when it comes to attracting customers. If you look at creators and influencers, their objective is more reach more visibility, higher view duration on their content and stuff like that. And most of these creators influencers who have large number of followers, they may not necessarily be good at attracting customers because they have built an image in the market.
00:01:01
Sidz: Well, they are not selling anything, they're only entertaining or adding value or, you know, holding the attention of somebody without walking them through a funnel or a sales process.
00:01:10
Sidz: But what I would like to share with you is if you want to really attract paying customers through your content marketing, you need to understand that there are three stages. The first stage is what I call a stage where you need to build your reach. Now to build your reach or to reach new people, to get new eyeballs, you know, on your content or listeners to your podcast or whatever you need to focus on a platform like Instagram. OK. Now let's take Instagram, Instagram reels.
00:01:39
Sidz: Now for building reach reels work really well. So you do short form content less than one minute. But again, when it comes to reels, you got to be really good at holding their attention and
00:01:49
Sidz: grabbing the attention within the 1st 2 to 3 seconds. Because if you are not able to hold your attention for the first two or three seconds, you won't get better reach on that particular reel. So many of the top Instagram influencers in the world today, they are really good at this short form content. And I would like to share a resource with all of you. If you go to S ID Z sids.co forward slash KL A,
00:02:11
Sidz: there's a very powerful tool that I found recently where you can upload any of your long format videos over there and it will chop it into short reels and stuff like that and it will take the best part of the video and it will give you an index of the, of its virality score. OK. So it'll pick the parts of the video which will be very good to work in, in terms of reels.
00:02:32
Sidz: So reels and short form, less than one minute video, reels and shots on youtube help you get better reach provided. You are able to understand the science behind how do you create viral content or how do you create content that can grab people's attention for the 1st 12 seconds? OK. The 1st 12 seconds are very important. The first three seconds uh is is going to determine the next three seconds, is going to determine the next six seconds.
00:02:57
Sidz: So Instagram gives you reach
00:02:59
Sidz: on your heels to a newer audience based on how you're able to keep people engaged to watch that full 12 seconds in the first, you know, when you start the video.
00:03:09
Sidz: But that's not the point here. The point here is not to just get high on these numbers and high on. Oh, I've got 200,000 views, 300,000 views on my video. I mean, you can feel good. Some of your videos can even go so good. But the second stage is the more important stage which is value. OK? So reach is the first stage and value is the second stage. And for the value based content, I would recommend that you start posting content on youtube
00:03:35
Sidz: and podcasts like this, anything above 10 minutes duration, above five minutes duration. Because reels can only give you attention. I mean, you can actually grab people's attention. But if you have to really win their confidence in terms of whatever you're teaching, you need to have
00:03:52
Sidz: a longer format content. So youtube videos, which are 10 plus minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minute videos or podcast, like what I'm doing right now. This is also, it's my second stage video which is all about value creation. OK? And the third stage
00:04:06
Sidz: is you need to build trust,
00:04:09
Sidz: OK? Now you can't buy trust, you have to earn trust. Now you have to earn trust. The best way to earn trust is through webinars, free webinars, get people into your webinar. So the real will give you the reach and visibility. The youtube video will be, you know, you will be able to establish value and give a lot of valuable information. So people who you're able to win their, you know, their confidence through your youtube and podcast, they will come to your webinars and they will sit in your webinar for a whole 90 minutes to two hours. And in that webinar, you can educate them, engage them, set the expectations
00:04:39
Sidz: and then sell whatever you want to sell, whether they're selling a membership or a service or a product or whatever. So if you look at this entire three stages,
00:04:46
Sidz: it's so powerful reach, value trust.
00:04:51
Sidz: And those people who are very short sighted in their vision, they only want to go for more reach,
00:04:57
Sidz: ok? And they're not able to create much valuable value piece of content. So my recommendation for all of you who want to get really good is I mean, especially if you want to like monetize your knowledge is first work on your paid content. Do a lot of one to ones with people and build a solid product first. OK? You have to go from backwards, like reverse engineer, the whole thing. Then you start getting good at webinars. OK?
00:05:18
Sidz: Now you can start building your influence and stuff on real spiral. But then if you see the way that I approach my game is I was not on Instagram for the for a very long time and only now I've started to get more active on it. And if you see my youtube channel, I have more than 6 700 videos, all long form videos. I built 80 of my library on online right now or all my long form content. So I have my value content that's already there and I'm continuously building that.
00:05:42
Sidz: But before that I was actually doing webinars. OK? So paid content first then get into webinars, start selling into a small group through performance marketing, whatever and then start building 80% of your time of your content on building the value content and then take that value piece of content and chop them up into reels where your time to create the reach content should be much lesser than any other form of content. So I hope I've been able to give you clarity.
